Successful Return of Open Gardens!

Added on 08 August 2021

The relaunch of Cold Ashby’s Open Gardens Weekend saw visitors enjoying warm sunshine in a well-organised, socially distanced environment. There were fewer stalls but still many gardens open – a particular extra attraction this year was the inclusion of the Hall grounds where teas were available outdoors.

Deborah Sampson, our Church Warden, in her message circulated to residents, writes:

We thought if we could make perhaps £2000 to help keep our church maintained would be a good result. The sun shone all weekend and we raised just over £3,500.

So very many thanks to everyone who helped run the event over the weekend...
