Just to register my appreciation of CAPFA's efforts in providing Cold Ashby's Guy Faulkes' Celebrations - more especially as this year the bonfire and firework display are taking place on the traditional night. The Rambler has fond memories of the anticipation and enjoyment he shared with friends and families when he was a child in Bedfordshire which are regenerated when the fires are lit on the 5th itself.

Traditional celebrations and festivals are so welcome as antidotes to the daily routine.

Let's hope the weather is Kind this year - see you there!
