Open Gardens Raises Over £2,800 Despite Poor Weather

Added on 14 August 2019

In her message to all the residents of the village, Debbie Sampson, our Church Warden, writes:

'One minute we were basking in record breaking heat and the next we were experiencing an absolute deluge resulting in a somewhat wet and cold Open Garden's weekend.

What a shame after all the hard work put in by so many of you.

However, we still raised over £2800 which was an unexpected amount and much welcomed by the church committee.'
