Deep Mud a Hazard on Footpaths and Bridleways

The improved weather this weekend may well tempt you to go for a good ramble or two.

If you are tempted (as the Rambler was yesterday) please bear in mind that, after the exceptionally wet winter, many paths, including those featured on this site, are virtually impassable in places.

Unless you enjoy the prospect of a mud bath, this can make a pleasantly familiar local stroll into a challenging ‘yomp’!
